Depending on the desired alloy, proportions of different precious metals are mixed at very high heat. These fuse together and form the starting point for the ring processing.
Discs are cut from a precious metal tube that is hollow on the inside. In this way, the basic shape of a ring is automatically achieved. Subsequently, the ring disc is intensively machined by alternately turning, grinding and hardening.
The radii of a profile are later decisive for the wearing comfort of the rings. This production step is done by turning and grinding with extremely precise CNC machines.
Behind each of our countless wedding ring designs is an intensive development process. This begins after the analysis of international trends with the design by renowned wedding ring designers. For this purpose, the ring models are first sketched by hand. The individual design is coordinated with production and the pattern making process is started. A Mokume Gane ring, for example, has to go through a very special production process. Each ring has a very individual grain, which is created by the interaction of several alloys in different colors.
To make the ring shine, it is polished with the help of a polishing machine. This production step requires a good eye and skilled manual work by experienced poliseuses.
After the rings have been turned into shape, the stone positions are first pre-drilled. Then, as seen here in a Mokume Gane ring, the diamonds are set into the setting made for them. This later guarantees a perfect stone setting.
In many cases, time-consuming manual work is necessary for the secure setting of valuable diamonds. Depending on the type of setting, the diamond is rubbed into the setting, cut, or the edge of the setting is very slightly bent over the stone for a bezel setting.
The almost finished ring is clamped for engraving inside the ring. To ensure a straight engraving, it is important to clamp the ring very precisely. Engraving is done either by hand, by machine or by laser. This type of engraving allows for very free designs and a variety of fonts.
The insertion of the individual engraving creates a completely finished and unique wedding ring. The guarantee for flawless products is the final inspection of each individual wedding ring by highly qualified employees. The production of all wedding rings at the exclusive production site in Germany guarantees high flexibility as well as excellent manufacturing quality.
